Courtney Peters, LCSW, Program Director
Courtney Peters is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Domestic Violence Professional. She received her Master’s degree from Roosevelt University, and has been working with children and adults of all ages for over 12 yrs. Courtney’s clinical interests and expertise include trauma, sexual assault/abuse, child abuse, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, and substance abuse. She has worked at numerous agencies, hospitals, and schools throughout Illinois as a therapist, advocate, trainer, and case manager. Courtney works to help her clients realize their potential for positive change and move forward with their lives. She believes that each client needs their own set of individual goals that will empower them. Courtney is outgoing and professional, and understands that a good therapeutic relationship starts with empathy and trust.
