Michelle Durpetti, LCSW, Program Director, has been working in the human service field for over 20 years. She has a Master of Social Work degree from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Psychology from Southern Illinois University. Michelle has a very well rounded background as she has worked in a variety of settings including specialties such as traumatic brain injury, chronic mental illness, foster care, domestic violence and family outreach. She has successfully managed and grown Advantage EAP for the last several years providing support and consultation to business leaders and human resource professionals on employee issues and productivity enhancement.
Michelle has an extensive background in providing trainings and workshops to assist individuals in skill development and enhancement. She has been highly regarded as a speaker on Workplace Bullying and Leadership development. Her style has been described by others as “dynamic and engaging”. Michelle’s other specialties include speaking on stress, communication and conflict resolution as well as a wide variety of team building activities to enhance the cohesion of any group.
Michelle has served on the board for the Society for Human Resource Management for the last three years with her current position focusing on Workforce Readiness Advocacy. She also serves as a volunteer for Royal Family Kids Camp.
